Supply Assets

Suppling assets into Five Protocol allows you to earn interest on your crypto holdings. You can deposit into the lending pool to earn variable APY based on market demand.

Supply Process

  1. Navigate to the "Supply" card of the Five Protocol app

  2. Select the asset you wish to supply

  3. Enter the amount you wish to supply

  4. Approve the token (first-time only)

  5. Confirm the transaction in your wallet

VToken Receipts

When you supply assets, you'll receive VTokens (e.g., vETH, vUSDC) as receipt tokens. These VTokens are ERC4626-compliant tokens that represent your share of the lending pool.

Your VTokens will automatically increase in value over time as interest accrues to the pool.

Withdrawal Process

You can withdraw your deposited assets at any time, provided the protocol has sufficient liquidity. To withdraw:

  1. Navigate to the "Withdraw" section

  2. Select the asset you wish to withdraw

  3. Enter the amount or select "Max" to withdraw all

  4. Confirm the transaction
